This is a tattoo I designed for a good friend of mine. She asked me to incorporate her astrological symbol and a rose for a tattoo she wanted put on her lower back. I drew it first in pencil and rendered all of the shadows to give it a 3-D effect. We took it to the tattoo artist and the rest is history :) And she loves it, which makes it even better.

great tattoo!!! :clap: I love tattoos, but just one thing that pisses me off, they had become so "trendy" in Europe lately, everyone has got at least one, but they are all alike - nobody seems to have a personal taste in this matter - they make themselves tattooed just following what's popular and what's not - they go in a tattoo parlour, take a look at the portfolio and then go for an elf, or a celtic motive, or a butterfly, or skull... just like in a department store
All the above to say here we have what I really consider a good tattoo - something unique, personal, reflecting some of the wearer's attitude or interests... and you made this one excellently! bravo!

really nice work. I think its very cool to do your own work. I could never just pick something off the wall. All my work and my daughters has been drawn by me, and they all mean something special. Ink is for life. :)
